On the gamma decay of analogue resonances in the58Fe(p, γ)59Co reaction

Abstract

Resonances in the reaction58Fe(p, γ)59Co have been studied in the analogue regionE p =2.20–2.25 MeV. Theγ-ray decays of fourteen resonances and the energies of nine bound states have been obtained using a 80 cm3 Ge(Li)-detector. TheQ-value was found to be 7359.7±3.0 keV. One lifetime and six lifetime limits were determined from the Doppler-shift attenuation method for bound states.
