Coherent exciton-phonon pulse propagation in one dimension

We treat the propagation of an exciton-phonon pulse on a linear molecular chain arising by the nonlinear interaction between the excitons and the coherent distortions of the chain. We find a pulse-solution for the coupled Heisenberg-equations of motion for low and higher exciton densities as well.
