Visual hallucinations

Summary

The subject of visual hallucinations is discussed insofar as they are the product of organic brain disease. The organic causes are listed, problems of localization, the differing forms of hallucinations, and the affective significance of the hallucinations for the patient are reviewed. Future avenues of investigation of the problems raised by visual hallucinations are suggested.
