The design of a knowledge based process diagnostic system

Abstract

This paper describes the need for and the design of, a knowledge based process diagnostic system. A prototype system is implemented using Intellicorp's Knowledge Engineering Environment (KEE). The system is being implemented at a planned new assembly plant.
