Abstract

Dipole moments forα,ω-dibromoalkanes containing 10, 12, 14, 18, 20 and 24 carbon atoms were determined in benzene solution at 25.00±0.05 °C. The experimental values of the dipole moments were found to compare well with the theoretical values calculated from Hayman and Eliezer's theory.
