Kupfer kann durch eine Tüpfelreaktion mit 0,2%iger wäßriger Tetrabromphenolphthaleinnatrium-Lösung bis zu 0,25γ gut bestimmt werden.

Le cuivre peut être bien déterminé par une réaction à la touche avec une solution aqueuse à 0,2% de sodium-tétrabromephénolphtaléine et ceci jusqu'à 0,25γ.
