Cyclopentadienylethoxytitanium bis-8-hydroxyquinolate was prepared by the action of cyclopentadienyltriethoxytitanium on 8-quinolinol.
It was shown that, under the action of propyl alcohol, water, or oxygen under mild conditions the cyclopentadienyl ring is eliminated from cyclopentadienylethoxy titanium bis-8-hydroxyquinolate.
