Abstract

The formation and evolution of some discharge structures under the action of a convergent HF beam on a dense weakly ionized plasma is analyzed numerically in the framework of the two-dimensional model. A discharge propagation mechanism leading to a stationary state in the two-dimensional case is investigated.
