Conclusions

β-Chloroethyl perfluoroalkenyl ethers are capable of reversibly adding fluoride ion, generating alkoxy-substituted carbanions that are stabilized via the intramolecular nucleophilic replacement of chlorine atom to give heterocyclic compounds.
