Image slot radiator as an exciter of a parabolic reflector

Abstract

A reflector antenna (RA) excited by an image slot radiator (ISR) based on an image slot line (ISL) has been investigated both theoretically and experimentally. Analytical expressions have been found for the geometrical parameter design of the RA and the exciter. Advanced methods for practicals use of RA, which are conjugate to ISL-ISR-hybrid modules, are discussed.
