Abstract

We hope that this journal can be of service to the scientific community in many ways. One of our aims is to accomplish, this in as flexible a way as possible. A comments section may be one form of increasing flexibility. There must be many worthy scientific communications that do not fit in the traditional forms of full or short papers but would be suitable as comments. Although we are not looking for controversial subjects (please do not attack the editors unless you have to), views expressed do not have to agree with, or represent, the views of the editors.-(Ed.)
