Conclusions

  1. 1.

A phenomenon of synergism has been established in the inhibition of the initiated oxidation (75°C) and autooxidation (120°C) of ethylbenzene by mixtures of copper and nickel bis(N,N-diethyldithiocarbamates) with thiuram disulfide (TDS).

  2. 2.

The synergistic effect in such systems is due to the regeneration of the dithiocarbamates of copper and nickel under the action of TDS.
