Abstract

Chaetomium globosum ascospores andTrichophyton terrestre conidia were exposed to spaceflight parameters of Apollo 16 then returned to Earch for studies in hyphal grwoth dynamics as one of the postflight investigations. Selected phenotypic strains of each species appeared to show changes in growth according to specific ultraviolet irradiations in space.
