Conclusions
- 1.
Aromatic aldehydes react with acyl isocyanates to give the corresponding substituted acylazomethines.
- 2.
Aliphatic aldehydes react with trichloroacetyl isocyanate to give substituted acyl carbamates, and the trichloroacetamide of 2,2-dimethylaldo-3-propanoic acid in the case of isobutyraldehyde.
