Conclusions

  1. 1.

A study has been made of metal-proton and metal-metal intermolecular exchange in substituted phenols and their OM derivatives in chloroform and pyridine solution.

  2. 2.

It has been shown that the exchange rate depends on the nature of the OM group, the electronic properties of the aromatic ring substituent, and the intramolecular coordination bonding to the o-halogen with the OM group.
