Reaction of phenyldiazonium chloride with ethylene sulfide

Conclusions

Together with other products,β-chloroethyl phenyl sulfide was obtained in 30% yield by the reaction of phenyldiazonium chloride with ethylene sulfide in the presence of catalytic amounts of CuCl2.
