Alkylation of alkali metal salts of aliphatic polynitro compounds — A general method for preparing different types of polynitro derivatives

Conclusions

A general method has been developed for preparing various types of polynitro derivatives with two or three nitro groups attached to one carbon atom. This method consists in reacting the alkali metal salts of aliphatic polynitro compounds with organic halo derivatives.
