Conclusions
- 1.
The prototropic isomerization of 1-tert-butylthiobut-3-yne (II) has been studied in alcoholic medium at 130° in the presence of alkali.
- 2.
The main products of the isomerization are the same compounds that are formed in the isomerization of 1-tert-butyl-thiobuta-2,3-diene (I) and the quantitative composition of the mixtures obtained from sulfides (I) and (II) are somewhat different.
