Zusammenfassung
Durch Umsetzung von Isocumarinen mit Jodessigester und Zink erhält man die analog substituierten 1-Hydroxy-2-naphthoesäureester. Unter denselben Reaktionsbedingungen liefern Cumarine Chromenylidenessigester.
Synthesis of 1-hydroxy-2-naphthoic acids from isocoumarins
Abstract
On treating isocoumarins with ethyl iodoacetate and zinc, the corresponding 1-hydroxy-2-naphthoates are obtained. Under the same reaction conditions, coumarins yield chromenylidene acetates.
