Conclusions
- 1.
The mass spectra of the intermediates in the synthesis of estrogens — derivatives of 8,14-seco-1,14-ketostrone and 8,14-seco-14-keto-D-homoestrone (I)-(X) — were studied.
- 2.
An unambiguous conclusion can be made concerning the structure of the various analogs and derivatives of this class of compounds using their mass spectra.
