New representatives of stannatranes were synthesized. The atrane structure was confirmed by the PMR spectra.
An increase in the coordination number of tin to six was demonstrated by an investigation of the nuclearγ-resonance spectra of stannadiatrane (III) and 1-methoxystannatrane (IV).
