The differential capacitance of the interelectrode gap

Abstract
An equation is obtained relating the capacitance of the interelectrode gap and the energy of the surface and space charges. It is shown that the calculated values of the capacitance are close to the experimental values, whereas equations previously employed give values that are too high on changing from one current mode of operation to another.
