Summary

  1. 1.

    Decaborane forms complexes with triethylphosphite, triphenylphosphite, and dibutyl ester of phenylphosphinous acid, and triethyltrithiophosphite, the complexes being of the type: B10H12 [P(OR)3]2 and B10H12 [P(SR)3]2.

  2. 2.

    Triethyiarsenite, triethyltrithioarsenite, and tri(thioethyl)stibine are reduced by decaborane to the corresponding metals.
