Effects of non-homogeneity on the stresses in a gravitating sphere

Summary
The effects of non-homogeneity on the stresses in respect of rigidity have been exhibited in a gravitating sphere i) with homogeneous core and ii) with rigid core and compared graphically with those in the corresponding homogeneous case. The effect has been computed on the stress concentration on the interface and the region of compression and extension.
