The hydrolytic cocondensation of trichloro (3,3,3-trifluoropropyl) silane with dichlorodimethyl-, dichloromethylphenyl-, and dichloromethyl (3,3,3-trifluoropropyl)-silanes was studied for the first time, and polyfluoroorganosiloxane resins were obtained.
Investigation of the thermal stabilities of the resins obtained showed that they do not decompose below 350–435° in air and below 460° in argon.
