Synthesis of liquid hydrocarbons from carbon monoxide and hydrogen in the presence of skeletal Co-Ni-Al catalyst at atmospheric pressure

Conclusions

  1. 1.

    A skeletal catalyst, prepared from a Co-Ni-Al alloy (1∶1∶2) by leaching, is active in the reaction for the synthesis of hydrocarbons from CO and H2.

  2. 2.

    At atmospheric pressure and an optimum reaction temperature of 190° the yield of liquid hydrocarbons reaches 93 ml/m3. In this connection gasoline and oil are formed in equal volume amounts.
