Summary
- 1.
The following compounds, not previously described, were synthesized: dipropargyl ethers of hydroquinone and diphenylolpropane, dipropargyl esters of succinic, maleic, and isophthalic acids, and dipropargylbenzal.
- 2.
Polymers with high softening points were obtained by oxidative dehydropolycondensation of the dipropargyl derivatives.
