Nature of the optical absorption spectra of the trapped electron in irradiated frozen water solutions

Conclusions

The optical absorption spectra of the trapped electron were measured in irradiated glasslike solutions of NaOH, KOH, and NaClO4 in H2O and D2O at — 196°. The same as at room temperature, the spectra are caused by a transfer of the charge to the solvent.
