Creation of the initial crack in hard-alloy specimen

Abstract
The article suggests a method of creating an initial crack for crack resistance tests of specimens of hard alloys. It presents experimental results of the realization of the method and also K-calibration dependences obtained in the solution of the contact problem by the finite element method for specimens with a crack.
