Temperature dependence of the UV fluorescence of some proteins
Article
Abstract
Results are presented for proteins containing tryptophan in an alcohol-water mixture. The shifts are explained via a relaxation mechanism of orientation interaction. The causes of the differences from the spectrum of free tryptophan are discussed in terms of orientation interaction.
