The effectiveness of behavior modification on hyperkinesis

Abstract

A review of all controlled studies of the effectiveness of behavior modification on hyperkinesis, published over the last 20 years, found that clinically hyperactive children are less likely to improve after behavior therapy than are moderately overactive children. Clinically hyperactive children respond to immediate, but not to delayed rewards.
