Atomic cavity with light-induced mirrors

We consider a possibility of creating an atomic cavity on the basis of reflection of atoms from a laser field. The main parameters of cavity such as maximum and minimum atomic velocity, cavity stability, scheme of atomic injection, maximum atomic density were defined. It was shown that a high degeneracy of atoms (≫1) can be achieved in such cavity.
