Superconducting tunneling on VN x films

Abstract

Superconducting tunneling junctions were fabricated on reactively sputtered VN x films with Al2O3, SiO2, or native oxide barriers. Results of thed2I/dV2 versusV measurements reveal a phonon structure that agrees well with that obtained in neutron scattering experiments.
