Renormalization-group theory of critical phenomena near the Lambda transition of4He

Article

Abstract

A review is given on the present status of the renormalization-group theory of observable static and dynamic critical phenomena near the Lambda transition of4He. New results of the Aachen theory group, in particular concerning the superfluid density, light scattering intensity, critical first sound, and finite-size effects, are reported. Future directions of theoretical research are briefly discussed.
