SS433 and hydrogen spectrum beyond the Paschen-Back region

Abstract

We examine the hydrogen spectrum in intense magnetic fields beyond the Paschen-Back region. Unlike in the Zeeman and Paschen-Back regions, the perturbations from the normal hydrogen spectrum increase as the magnetic fielddecreases!
