Oscillatory nonlinear electron flow in a Pierce diode using Lagrange transform

Abstract

Two integral equations for the electric field, characterizing the Pierce diode in the cold fluid regime are obtained by using Lagrange transform. These equations agree exactly with those obtained by Godfrey.
