Modes of a prism cavity with small reflection and diffraction losses

Abstract
Huygens's principle is used to solve the integral equation for the lower modes of a cavity formed by two three-faced prisms with total internal reflection, which are inclined at the Brewster angle to eliminate reflection losses and which have planoconvex lenses at the side faces to minimize diffraction losses.
