Structure of canescein

Summary

The chemical structure of canescein has been established. Canescein does not have the structure proposed previously but is 3β-(β-D-gluomethylopyranosyl)-5β, 11α, 14β-trihydroxy-19-oxocard-20(22)-enolide.
