Summary
From the epigeal part ofCarpesium eximium C. Winkler four sesquiterpene lactones with the composition C15H20O3 have been isolated: carabrone, telekin, ivalin, and a new sesquiterpene lactone, a stereoisomer of ivalin, which has been called carpesin.
