Arsanin — A new sesquiterpene lactone from Artemsia santolina

From the epigeal part ofArtemisia santolina Schrenk. has been isolated a new sesquiterpene lactone, arsanin, C15H22O4, which has the structure of 1-hydroxy-3-oxoeudesm-5,12-olide.
