Comparative analysis of the self-localization properties of excitons and F2 centers in alkali halides

Abstract

A comparative analysis is presented of the energetic and temporal parameters of self-localized excitons and F2 centers in the triplet state in a number of crystals. We conclude that in crystals with different values of the Rabin-Klick parameters and self-localized excitors exhibit D2h symmetry in the triplet state.
