Utilization and properties of concretes impregnated with sulfur

Abstract

We analyze the results of the investigation of concretes impregnated with sulfur melts and determine their strength and strain characteristics. It is shown that impregnation improves the characteristics of strength and crack-growth resistance of various types of concretes and significantly (at least by a factor of two) increases their corrosion resistance in some aggressive media.
