Sarkom in einer Laparotomienarbe

Zusammenfassung

19 Jahre nach einer Oberbauchmedianlaparotomie erfolgte eine Relaparotomie an gleicher Stelle, 4 Jahre später fand sich ein Sarkom innerhalb der Narbe, das in 2 Jahren zu Tode führte. Histologisch war in den örtlichen Rückfällen und den Metastasen eine zunehmende Entdifferenzierung zu beobachten.

Summary

19 years after an upper midline celiotomy, and 4 years following a repeat celiotomy in the same place, a sarcoma developed in the scar which lead to death 2 years later. Histologically, the local recurrences of the tumor and its metastases became increasingly less differentiated.
