Abstract
The stopped-flow method has been used to study the kinetics of the reactions of the complexes formed by the rare earth elements of the yttrium subgroup and Xylenol Orange with Trilon B. The influence of the acidity of the medium and temperature on the reaction rate has been studied. The rate constants and activation energy for the process have been determined. A reaction mechanism has been proposed.
