Angiofibroma of the maxillary antrum

Summary

A review of previously published cases of extranasopharyngeal angiofibroma is made. A case of a 27-year-old woman is presented. It is suggested that in future cases of extranasopharyngeal angiofibromas only should be termed angiofibromas.

Zusammenfassung

Einer Literaturübersicht folgt der Bericht über eine 23jährige Frau mit einem Angiofibrom der linken Kieferhöhle. Die Verfasser schlagen vor, in Zukunft Angiofibrome außerhalb des Nasopharynx nur noch Angiofibrom zu nennen.
