Summary

Normal scinti-anatomy of the head as demonstrated on gamma-camera pictures is described. Special attention is paid to positioining and its effect on anatomical relationships. Gamma-camera pictures are characterized by a much richer detail than pictures made with a linear scanner and thus allow much better evaluation of correct positioning. This is useful as incorrect positioning and inaccurate evaluation of anatomical extracerebral structures may lead to pitfalls in diagnosis and faulty interpretation.

Résumé

L'auteur décrit la scintianatomic normale de la tête obtenue avec une gamma-caméra (position du malade et rapports anatomiques). Les images obtenues avec la gamma-caméra sont plus riches en détails que celles du balayage linéaire et permettent de ce fait une meilleure installation du malade. Des positions incorrectes sont en effet à l'origine d'erreurs d'interprétation.

Zusammenfassung

Die Verfasser berichten über die normale Scinti-Anatomie des Kopfes, wie sie mit der Gamma-Kamera beobactet werden kann. Die Autoren sind der Ansicht, daß die Gamma-Kamera eine bessere Detailerkennbarkeit als der lineare Scanner ergibt. Die einzelnen anatomischen besonderheiten, die bei der Isotopen-Untersuchung festgestellt werden können, werden beschrieben und mit Abbildungen belegt.
