Differential activity of some psychotropic drugs as a function of emotional level in animals

Abstract

The activity of various psychotropic drugs was tested on the abnormal behavior induced by prolonged isolation in both mice and in rats. It is suggested that the different effects shown by the drugs on the various behavioral profiles of the two species considered are dependent on the emotional level of the experimental animals.
