Summary
Eleven species of Saprolegniaceae viz., Saprolegnia diclina, S. ferax, Isoachlya anisospora, Achlya dubia, A. proliferoides, A. diffusa, A. orion, A. prolifera, A. conspicua, Aphanomyces helicoides, and Leptolegnia sp. (sterile) collected from waters of Gorakhpur have been described.
