Influence of Internal Structure on the Machining of VT6 Titanium Alloy Produced by Additive Technology

  • Published:
Russian Engineering Research Aims and scope

Abstract

The influence of the cutting conditions on the surface roughness Ra is compared for components produced by additive technology with structure parallel and perpendicular to the axis of rotation. The internal structure has a considerable influence on the quality of the machined surface.
