Abstract

Changes in surface roughness, residual stresses, and other parameters are studied under various selected conditions of diamond-electrochemical honing (DEH) of parts made of the steels 30KhGSA, 30KhN2MFA, 35KhN2MFASh, 23KhGS2MFALU, and St.50A. The honing tool design is presented, and the question of the geometric characteristics of the cathodic section, insulating coating, and material of the guides of the honing tool is resolved. The results are obtained, demonstrating the effect of DEH on the reliability and durability indicators of parts manufactured by this method. The technical and economic efficiency of the created industrial DEH department is demonstrated.
